Candle Care Tips
Following these tips will help ensure safety and extend the life of your candle.
Coconut Apricot Wax Candles & Warmer Weather:
The wax we utilize is made from a proprietary blend of coconut and apricot waxes, along with a minute amount of FDA food-grade paraffin for body and stability.
Due to the natural oil content in coconut wax, temperature fluctuations and changes in humidity can sometimes cause our candles to sweat. The oil will likely be reabsorbed into the candle once it’s in a stable temperature. It can also help to keep your candle out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, such as vents. If it does not reabsorb before you’d like to use your candle, you can gently wipe the excess oil with a paper towel before lighting. Your candle’s performance won’t be affected by natural sweating.

Finished burning your candle?
Follow these simple steps to clean out your vessel and give it a second life.
Take a shallow pot of water and turn on your stove to the lowest setting. Place the vessel in the pot.
Keep a close eye on the vessel to see when the wax has melted down. This won’t take very long.
Once the wax has completely melted: wearing an oven mitt, pick up the vessel and pour out the melted wax into the trash. Then take a few paper towels and carefully wipe the remaining wax out of the vessel.
If the wick and wick sticker don’t come out with the paper towel, place the vessel in the sink. Once it cools down, put hot water in the vessel with some dish soap. In a few hours, the wick and sticker will come loose and can be thrown away.
The vessel can now be washed in the dishwasher.
Enjoy!
